Amid the crisis in Afghanistan, the prices of dry fruit in Kanpur witnessed a surge as imports from Afghanistan have been disrupted following the Taliban's takeover. The Vice president of Nayaganj dry fruit market, Alankar Omar said that "It was true that the prices of dry fruit here have increased as imports from Afghanistan have been disrupted."
