44-year-old man dies on son's birthday while playing cricket in Mohali
PTC News Desk: A 44-year-old man collapsed and died while he was playing cricket at the Ace Cricket Ground in Mohali's Sector 87 on Saturday.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The deceased has been identified as Belan Sangun, a native of Karnataka. He was reportedly delivering the 16th over of the inning when he suddenly collapsed and died.
He is survived by his wife and son. Tragically it was the time when his son was celebrating his birthday.
The family have ruled out any foul play in the incident. Police have launched investigation into the matter and reviewing CCTV footage.
