PTC Web Desk:  In an inspiring story of patriotism and dedication, 10-year-old Shravan Singh, a resident of border village Mamdot in Ferozepur district, has been honoured by the Indian Army as the 'Youngest Civil Warrior' during Operation Sindoor.

Shravan’s unwavering support to Indian soldiers stationed near his home during Operation Sandoor caught the attention of senior military officials. He was felicitated by Major General Ranjeet Singh Manral, GOC of 7 Infantry Division, for his outstanding contribution and selfless service.

Despite his young age, Shravan showed extraordinary commitment. Throughout the operation, he consistently brought cold water, milk, tea, lassi, and even ice for the soldiers deployed near his home. He spent time with them, helped in small yet meaningful ways, and developed a deep emotional bond with the men in uniform.

Sharvan’s father, Sona Singh, said, “The soldiers were stationed on our land, and from the very first day, my son began taking milk, lassi, water, and ice to them. We never stopped him because he found happiness in serving the Army. He kept visiting them regularly, and it made us proud. He now dreams of becoming a soldier one day.”

Speaking to the media, Shravan said he enjoyed visiting the Army personnel and providing them with refreshments. “I want to become a soldier when I grow up and serve the nation,” he said. “They gave me a special gift, treated me with a special meal, and even gave me ice cream. That made me very happy.”
