Congress President Raja Warring lands in another controversy over touching 'jooda' of Sikh children, SAD President flaks action
PTC News Desk: Punjab Congress President and Ludhiana MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring has landed in yet another controversy during the Tarn Taran by-election campaign over allegedly touching jooda of sikh children inaapropriately.
Raja Warring's video during election campaign on Saturday has gone viral where he can be seen touching joodas of two Sikh children nd saying jokingly, “Where are the two Sardars going, too-too-too-too-toon...”
Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal condemned the act, calling it disrespect towards Sikh faith. He said that Raja Warring’s behavior amounted to an insult to Sikh religious values. Sukhbir posted a 17-second video of the incident on his social media account.
Calling it a pattern of behavior, Sukhbir Badal wrote on social media that insulting and mocking the Sikh community has become a habit among leaders of the Congress party, which he described as “the party responsible for Sikh killings.” He added that Guru Sahib blessed the Sikh community with uncut hair (kesh) as a sacred gift.
