Panic grips Chandigarh after residents spot leopard in Sector 29
PTC News Desk: Panic gripped Chandigarh after residents spotted a leopard in Sector 29 late Wednesday night, triggering a thorough scan by the Forest department officials.
The CCTV footage from the dargah captured the presence of feline on the premises.
The stray animal is seen drinking water and roaming in the area.
As a precautionary measure, PCR vehicles were deployed in the area in view of the residential colonies market and forest area near the spot.
Locals informed the cops and forest department after which officials reached the spot. However no animal or its traces were found in the vicinity.
