PSEB Class 10 Result 2025: Faridkot’s Akshnoor Kaur tops with perfect 650/650 marks
PTC Web Desk: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially declared the Class 10 board examination results for 2025, and this year’s toppers have made history by scoring perfect marks. Leading the merit list is Akshnoor Kaur from Faridkot, who secured 650 out of 650 marks, earning the first position across the state.
Closely following her is Ratinderdeep Kaur from Sri Muktsar Sahib, who also scored a perfect 650/650, securing the second rank based on internal assessment criteria. The third position has been claimed by Arshdeep Kaur from Malerkotla, who too achieved a flawless 650 out of 650, making it a clean sweep by three exceptional students.
This year, the PSEB recorded an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.61%, with 2,65,548 students passing out of the 2,77,746 who appeared.
Continuing the trend of academic excellence, girl students outshone boys, registering a pass percentage of 96.85%, compared to 94.50% among boys.
Interestingly, rural areas outperformed urban areas once again this year. Rural pass percentage is 96.09% while that of urban is 94.71%.
School Type-Wise Pass Percentage
Private schools: 96.96%
Government schools: 95.47%
Aided schools: 91.72%
In the transgender category, only 2 out of 4 students passed.
District-Wise Highlights
Top Performing District: Amritsar with a remarkable 98.54% pass percentage
Lowest Performing District: Ludhiana at 91.62%
Other high-performing districts with over 97% pass rates include: Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Hoshiarpur, Mohali, Bathinda, and Sangrur Jalandhar and Mansa districts recorded around 95% pass rates.
