Punjab: 4-year-old among six killed in horrific road accident in Sangrur’s Sunam, watch visuals
Punjab Sunam Accident: In yet another horrific, shocking and unsettling incident, 4-year-old boy among six killed as near Mehlan chowk area in Sangrur’s Sunam.
The dreadful incident unfolded at around 1:30 am on Wednesday night when the victims were returning back to Sunam from Malerkotla in a Maruti 800 car.
The spine-chilling accident occurred when Maruti 800 car tried to overtake truck and had a head-on collision with another truck coming from opposite direction. The car got crushed between the two vehicles which took lives of six people.
The deceased have been identified as Neeraj Singla (37), his 4-year-old son Madhav Singla, Lalit Bansal (45), Davesh Jindal (33), Deepak Jindal (30) and Vijay Kumar (50), all residents of Sunam.
Chhajli police station Sub Inspector said the victims died on the spot.
