Punjab: BSF troops recover drone, 2 kg heroin from Ferozepur village
PTC News Desk: Vigilant troops of Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday morning foiled another drone along with heroin near Rana Panjgrain village in Punjab’s Ferozepur.
The drone along with heroin was recovered from the Rana Panjgrain village in Ferozepur district following a search operation launched by the BSF troops.
A search operation was launched by Border Security Force (BSF) on November 28, 2023 during the morning hours on the specific information regarding the presence of drone in Rana Panjgrain village.

During the search operation launched at 07:45 am on Tuesday morning, a drone alongwith 01 packet of contraband suspected to be Heroin (Gross Wt. - approximately 2 Kg) was recovered from the farming field adjacent to Rana Panjgrain village.
The narcotics were packed in a packets wrapped with yellow adhesive tapes with luminous strips for night indication
The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model - DJI Matrice 300 RTK, made in China)
BSF Punjab Frontier also took to their official Twitter handle and wrote, “On specific intelligence input, @BSF_Punjab troops of Abohar Sector launched a search operation and recovered a Pakistani drone (DJI Matrice 300 RTK - Made in China) along with 2 kg of heroin attached to it. The narcotics were packed in a packets wrapped with yellow adhesive tapes with luminous strips for night indication. This recovery took place in Village Rana Panj Grain, District Ferozepur, #Punjab.”
