Punjab Police apprehends three fugitive shooters linked to gangster Sonu Khatri
Chandigarh, September 8: In a significant breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab Police has successfully arrested three fugitive shooters associated with the notorious gangster Sonu Khatri, as stated in an official report.
According to the official release issued by Punjab Police, one of the shooters was apprehended near the India-Nepal border, while the remaining two were captured in Gurugram.

"In a comprehensive pan-India operation, AGTF Punjab, in collaboration with central agencies, has apprehended three fugitive shooters believed to be under the command of Gangster Sonu Khatri, a close ally of terrorist Harvinder Rinda. One individual was detained at the Indo-Nepal border, and the other two were apprehended in Gurugram," stated DGP Punjab Police, Gaurav Yadav, on the social media platform X.
These individuals were implicated in a brazen daylight shootout at Metro Plaza in Zirakpur. The arrested suspects have been linked to five homicides, seven attempted murders, and numerous other serious criminal offenses, according to the police.
The law enforcement authorities have also confiscated three foreign-made sophisticated pistols from the apprehended shooters, further enhancing the gravity of the case.
The investigation into this matter is actively ongoing, with the police determined to uncover more details regarding their activities and connections.
