Punjab Police arrest Amritpal Singh's close aide Joga Singh
Amritsar, April 15: In a major development in 'Operation Amritpal', Punjab Police on Saturday arrested another close aide of 'Waris Punjab De' chief from Sirhind.
The arrested accused has been identified as Joga Singh.
Narinder Bhargav, DIG, border range while addressing a press conference on Saturday informed that Joga Singh was the main accomplice who arranged shelter for Amritpal in Pilibhit.

"He was constantly in touch with Amritpal and Pappalpreet after their escape on March 18. He was accompanying Amritpal in Hoshiarpur," he added.
Joga Singh, who originally hails from Ludhiana, was arrested in a joint operation of Amritsar rural police and Hoshiarpur police.
"He will be interrogated and Police will investigate leads provided by him," DIG Bhargav said.
