Punjab retained its law and order ranking at Number 2, says DGP Yadav
Chandigarh, December 21: Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on Wednesday announced that the state has retained its Law & Order ranking at Number 2, citing a report by India Today.
In its report showing best performing states in terms of law and order, India Today mentioned Punjab in second place with Gujarat at the top rank. Out of 140, Punjab scored 85.1 while Gujarat scored 90.5.

"Grateful to all our stakeholders including our citizens, who have been helping us work with the society in a synchronized way," tweeted Punjab DGP.
"Punjab Law & Order is enhancing every year, Police & Public together creating peace and harmony," DGP said in another tweet, citing India Today as the source.
