Punjab 'sacrilege' cases: Minorities' panel takes suo moto cognisance; seeks report

Iqbal Singh Lalpura, National Commission for Minorities Chairman, on Monday took a suo moto cognizance of the sacrilege bid at Golden Temple in Amritsar and Kapurthala, respectively. The Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities wrote a letter to Punjab Chief Secretary to submit a detailed report before December 26.
