'Pizza, Blinkit in 30, chitta in less than 2 minutes': SAD flags easy access to drugs in Bathinda, slams Punjab Govt
PTC News Desk: The Shiromani Akali Dal on Sunday shared a video on its social media what it describes as a purported sing operation, showing how easily chitta is accessible to the people that too for as little as Rs 600 at Sangat Kalan village in Bathinda and delivered by a woman, saying, "Pizza is delivered in 30 minutes, Blinkit in 10 minutes, but 'chitta' in less than two minutes."
In its fiery attack on the AAP government over its mishandling of the drug menace in the state, the SAD also demanded an immediate inquire into the matter.
The SAD also asked the Punjab Government to provide a list of precise action taken against drug peddlers in every village.

The allegations comes amid Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's three-day Bathinda visit and party's ongoing campaign 'War Against Drugs'.
Meanwhile, Inspector Harbans Singh, SHO of Sangat police station said, "The video was shot on Friday. We have registered an FIR and arrested one person namely Gaggu and recovered 3-gm of 'chitta'."
The allegations also come days after Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan admitted that the government has failed to completely eradicate drugs from the state, despite making it a fundamental promise.
During a public gathering in Kotkapura, Kultar Singh Sandhwan was reportedly heard telling people that the government may have been successful in fulfilling all his guarantees but failed to fulfill the promise of eliminating 'chitta' from Punjab.
Sandhwan during the gathering admitted that the drug menace still persists in the state on large scale.
