Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: Raikot constituency is located in the Ludhiana district of Punjab. It is one of the 117 seats of Punjab Vidhan Sabha. Aam Aadmi Party's Jagtar Singh Jagga Hissowal won the last assembly elections and is the current MLA of Raikot. He won the 2017 elections by defeating Dr Amar Singh of Congress with a margin of 10,614 votes. Voters According to the voter list for the 2017 assembly elections, the total number of voters in the constituency is 1,49,160. 171 polling stations were established by the election commission during these elections. A total of 1,17,383 votes were cast in the Raikot constituency and the percentage was 78.70%, which was recorded higher than the state average. Candidates Aam Aadmi Party's Jagtar Singh Jagga Hissowal, Shiromani Akali Dal's Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal and Congress' Amar Singh were MLA candidates for the Raikot constituency in the 2017 Punjab assembly elections.
