As per the Chennai-based motorcycle maker, the Meteor 350 is an all-new motorcycle that is supported by a different platform than other RE bikes.

As per the report, Royal Enfield wants to carry forward the legacy created by its Thunderbird and Lightning bikes. The new Meteor 350 is a modern classic motorcycle which will be offered in three variants -- Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova -- each of which has different colour scheme.

Design
It is having proper cruiser-like silhouette with elements like a round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, split step-up seats, round tail light, and exposed mechanical bits. It also have LED DRL, LED tail lamps and a raised handlebar and a forward-set foot-pegs.
Specifications
The all-new Meteor 350 has a single-cylinder BS6-compliant engine. As per reports, the engine will generate 20.5 horsepower and a torque of 27Nm.

Suspension and braking hardware
The Meteor 350 is having 41 mm telescopic forks with twin-tube emulsion shock absorbers with 6-step adjustable preload at the rear. It is fitted with 300 mm front and 270 mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
