The winners of IPL 2025 are expected to receive a prize of ₹20 crore, while the runners-up will be awarded ₹13 crore. These figures have remained unchanged for the past three seasons, beginning in 2022. The steady increase in the league's popularity and scale has contributed to a rise in prize money over the years.
In comparison, during the inaugural season in 2008, champions Rajasthan Royals received ₹4.8 crore, and the runners-up, Chennai Super Kings, earned ₹2.4 crore. In addition to the prestigious IPL Trophy, various individual honors will also be presented, including Player of the Tournament, Emerging Player of the Year, Purple Cap, and Orange Cap.
