Punjab shines bright in National School Games: Indian girls have consistently brought honor and glory to the nation on the international stage, excelling in various fields such as athletics, badminton, shooting, and weightlifting. In a remarkable feat of strength and determination, student of Gurukul School Zirakpur and resident of Punjab’s Zirakpur, Ananya Seth etched her name in the Indian weightlifting history by clinching the gold medal at the 67th national school games in Patna. 


She won gold in Under 17 weightlifting, 81 plus weight category.

Ananya showcased exceptional prowess, breaking barriers and set new records as she lifted a staggering 150 kilograms during the championship. Her total score of 63/72 in the cleaner category solidified her position as a formidable force in the sport of weightlifting.
