Sukha Kahlwan Murder Case : HC orders to complete trial within three months
The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Wednesday ordered the trial court to complete the trial of murder of gangster Sukha Kahlwan within three months.
Justice Kuldeep Singh gave the order while hearing the petition filed by Gurjeet Singh alias Sonu Baba. The next hearing of the case will be taken up in trial court on November 30.
Sukha Kahlwan, was shot dead in the presence of six policemen allegedly by a rival gang at Paddi Khalsa village near Goraya on January 20,2015. He was being taken to Nabha jail after a court hearing in Jalandhar.Kahlwan was facing more than 40 cases of murder, dacoity and robbery in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
