Shimla, February 18: In a startling bid of Rs 1.12 crore has been received online for a fancy registration number (HP 99-9999) for a scooty on Friday by the Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA), Kotkhai.The price reserved for the bid was Rs 1,000 and there were 26 participants, had a bid for the number, according to officials of the transport department said. The official further said that, the highest bid is of Rs 1,12,15,500, received online. The bidding will freeze on Friday.
