Chai company founder faces backlash for 'Bro, Chill' motivational post on X
Chai Sutta Bar: Anubhav Dubey, the co-founder of 'Chai Sutta Bar,' faced trolling after his motivational post on X, formerly Twitter, took an unexpected turn. Dubey's post aimed to evoke inspiration but triggered a viral storm of mockery.
In the post, Dubey conveyed, "We are not seeking office employees with a 9-to-5 routine. We're creating a powerful army." This seemingly motivational message backfired, resulting in over 714,300 views and an influx of comical comments.
We are not looking for office employees working 9 to 5.
No, not at all.
We are making f**king Army here. pic.twitter.com/MGBeb9Mk0J — Anubhav Dubey (@tbhAnubhav) November 27, 2023
One user quipped, "Using expletives to appear cool doesn't make you cool. Selling chai isn't that grand." Another humorously questioned, "Why do you need an army to sell tea?"
Amid the jest, one user jokingly asked if they'd now be selling chai at the borders. Others offered tongue-in-cheek requests to join Dubey's 'chai army' or suggested he urgently hire a public relations agent. Despite the online banter, the 23-year-old entrepreneur has transformed his startup into a multi-crore business, expanding to over 500 outlets worldwide, as per his LinkedIn profile.
