PTC News Desk: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are on track to reap a significant windfall with the impending listing of insurance startup Go Digit, poised to offer them a staggering 271 per cent return on their investment. Their foresight in acquiring shares in January 2020 is about to pay off handsomely, with the IPO launch next week.

Kohli, having purchased 266,667 shares at Rs 75 each, stands to convert his Rs 2 crore investment into a substantial Rs 9.25 crore at the upper band price of Rs 278 per share. Meanwhile, Sharma's investment of Rs 50 lakh for 66,667 shares translates to a value of approximately Rs 1.85 crore.

The Go Digit IPO, already generating buzz in the market, sees shares commanding a premium of around Rs 50 or 18 per cent above the offer price of Rs 258-272 in the grey market. The IPO itself comprises a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 1,125 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 54,766,392 shares.

Investors can bid for a maximum of 55 equity shares and multiples thereof. The allocation breakdown reserves 75 per cent for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 15 per cent for non-institutional investors, and the remaining 10 per cent for retail investors.

With the IPO priced in the range of Rs 258 to Rs 272 per equity share, the subscription window is set to open on May 15 and conclude on May 17. As anticipation builds for Go Digit's debut on the market, Kohli and Sharma's astute investment decisions look primed to deliver substantial gains, marking yet another success story in their portfolio.
