Gurugram horror: Pet husky attacks woman during walk in posh society, caught on camera
PTC Web Desk: A peaceful evening walk turned terrifying for a woman in Gurugram when a pet Husky suddenly attacked and bit her hand. The shocking incident, caught on camera, happened inside a high-end residential complex on Golf Course Road.
In the video, the woman can be seen walking and chatting with her companions. On the same path, another woman was walking her pet Husky. Out of nowhere, the dog jumped at the woman, knocking her down and biting her hand tightly.

Despite several attempts by the dog owner and others to pull the dog away and kick it off, the Husky refused to let go for nearly 15 seconds. The woman can be seen screaming and writhing in pain. Finally, the dog was dragged away, and the injured woman was helped to her feet.
What makes this incident more alarming is that the attack came from a pet dog, not a stray. Such incidents are raising concerns about pet safety in residential areas. Many societies in Delhi-NCR have witnessed similar cases, leading to calls for stricter rules on pet control.
This attack comes at a time when the country is already worried about the rise in stray dog attacks and rabies deaths. Just a few days ago, a 55-year-old man in Delhi died after being attacked by a group of stray dogs during his morning walk.
The issue has reached national attention. Congress MP Karti Chidambaram has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to form a task force to tackle the stray dog menace, which is causing fear across cities.
