Uzbekistan roof collapse incident: Three Indian workers died in a tragic roof collapse incident at a project site in Almalyk, Uzbekistan, on Tuesday, while 30 were injured, according to the Indian Embassy in Uzbekistan.
"We express our sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wish speedy recovery to the injured," said the Indian Embassy in Uzbekistan.
Embassy officials visited the scene and met with the injured victims at Almalyk City Hospital.
"We are in touch with the employing company and the local authorities to ensure all possible assistance," the statement added.
The employing company and the Embassy are contacting the next of kin of each victim. "Our emergency contact number is +998 933875242," the embassy stated.
