Air Canada plane collides with ground vehicle at New York airport, several injured
PTC News Desk: An Air Canada Express plane collided with a ground vehicle parked at New York's La Guardia Airport on Monday. According to the reports, several people were injured in collision.
Authorities and several rescue teams rushed to the spot.
Meanwhile US Federal Aviation Administration has issued a ground stop for all planes at the airport.
Several purported videos of the collision emerged on social media showing rescue operations at the airport. However the videos could not be independently verified. The clip showed the front of the commuter plane smashed and tilting in the air as passengers deplaned from the vehicle.

According to the reports, around 100 passengers were onboard the jet- a Bombardier CRJ-900.
LaGuardia Airport's website showed all arriving planes have either been diverted to other airports or returned to their point of origin.
