PTC News Desk: Tragedy struck as the lifeless body of 36-year-old Chaithanya Madhagani, hailing from Hyderabad, was discovered in a wheelie bin by the roadside in Buckley, Australia, according to reports. The grim incident has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving many reeling from the sudden loss.

Madhagani had been residing in Australia with her husband and their son prior to the tragic turn of events. In a heartbreaking turn, her husband, who is suspected of being involved in her murder, returned to Hyderabad and entrusted their child to Madhagani's grieving parents.


Upon learning of the devastating news, Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy, representing Madhagani's constituency, extended his condolences to her bereaved family. He swiftly took action, writing a letter to the Foreign Office at the behest of Madhagani's parents, urging for her body to be repatriated to Hyderabad. Additionally, Reddy liaised with Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy's office, ensuring that appropriate steps were taken to address the family's plight.

Disturbingly, Madhagani's parents revealed that their son-in-law had allegedly confessed to the heinous act of murdering their daughter. The Victoria Police, in an official statement dated March 9, confirmed their investigation into the matter. They disclosed that a deceased individual had been discovered in Buckley, near Winchelsea, and that a second crime scene had been identified at a residential address in Point Cook, believed to be linked to the homicide.

As the investigation progresses, authorities are exploring the possibility that the parties involved were acquainted with one another, and they suspect that the perpetrator may have fled overseas. This harrowing incident serves as a stark reminder of the prevalence of domestic violence and the devastating toll it exacts on families worldwide.
