'If attacked by India': Former Pak minister's remarks post India's diplomatic rebuke in response to Pahalgam attack
PTC News Desk: As the outrage over the deadly Pahalgam attacks continues to mount worldwide, Pakistan seems to be rattled after India's diplomatic response in one of many severe actions. Meanwhile former Pakistan minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the country will stand together to protect itself if "attacked or threatened" by India.
Hussain, a senior leader of ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan's party PTI, took to X to declare that all major parties, including the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI), will stand united despite their political divide.
"Pakistan is politically divided, but we stand united as a nation. If attacked or threatened by India, all groups — PML-N, PPP, PTI, JUI, and others — will rally together under the Pakistani flag to defend our homeland," Hussain said.
In a series of post, Fawad hussain had earlier anticipated a restrain from the Indian government post the terror attacks.
"The Indian Cabinet has concluded its security meeting — let's hope cool heads prevail and the authorities don't risk millions of lives by giving in to media-fueled war jingoism," he wrote.
