A tragic comes from neighbouring country Nepal where a 72-seater passenger aircraft crashed on the runway at Pokhara International Airport in Nepal on Sunday. Rescue operations are underway and the airport is shut for the same reason.

The plane was going to Pokhara from Kathmandu.

A total of 68 passengers and four crew members were on board the Yeti airlines aircraft that crashed between the old airport and the Pokhara International Airport, The Kathmandu Post reported.

In the latest update after Aircraft crash at Pokhara Airport in Nepal - A total of 16 bodies have been recovered so far confirmer Nepal Army Spokesperson.

"10 foreign nationals, including 2 infants were on board," Sudarshan Bartaula, spokesperson of Yeti Airlines

 53 Nepali, 5 Indian, 4 Russian, One Irish, 2 Koreans, 1 Argentinian and a French national were on board: Airport authority.
