Pakistan strike in Afghanistan's Khost kills nine children, says Taliban
PTC News Desk: At least nine children and a woman have been killed after Pakistani forces bombed a house in the country’s southeastern Khost province, according to Afghan authorities.
In a post on X, the spokesperson said, "Last night at around 12 o'clock in the Gorbuz district of Khost province, in the Mughalgai area, the Pakistani invading forces bombed the house of a local civilian resident, Waliat Khan, son of Qazi Mir. As a result, nine children (five boys and four girls)"
The latest attack triggers risk of renewed hostilities while already fragile ceasefire between both the nations hangs by thread.
Pakistan however has not responded to the allegations of attack.
The reports of attack by pakistan comes a day after a suicide attack targetted the headquarters of Pakistan’s paramilitary Federal Constabulary force in Peshawar.
The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar – which is a splinter group of the Pakistan Taliban, known by the acronym TTP – claimed responsibility for that attack.
