'FM Arun Jaitley assures quick action against Jagdish Tytler', says Harsimrat Kaur Badal
Harsimrat Kaur Badal, the Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing took to her Twitter account on Thursday and said Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has assured quick action against Jagdish Tytler in 1984 Sikh Genocide.
'We met FM @arunjaitley ji to seek immediate action against Jagdish Tytler after his confessions about his and Congress’ role in #1984SikhGenocide. Thanks to Jaitley Ji for empathizing with us and assuring quick action,' Harsimrat Kaur Badal wrote on Twitter.
She, earlier in the day retweeted a post of Shiromani Akali Dal that said, 'A sea of people at the #PolKhol rally speaks volume about rejection of the Congress led government by people. In wake of undelivered promises & complete misrule, Punjabis have lost their patience within a year. SAD will collectively continue the fight against Congress misrule.'
Earlier, SAD leader and Punjab's former deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal also demanded Tytler's arrest and called him a "genocide perpetrator". The tweets also demanded that a case be filed against the family of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for "hatching a conspiracy".
