Farmer gets loan waiver of 1 paise on Rs 1,55,000 loan amount
A farmer from Mathura on Tuesday got a loan waiver of 1 paise on Rs 1,55,000 loan amount. Early this month farmers from Umri village in Hamirpur were shocked when they received a loan waiver certificate of Rs 10 at a public function. September 5 onwards CM Yogi Adityanath’s ministers were to distribute certificates in their respective districts while the money is to be deposited directly in the farmers’ bank accounts, as per promises.
