Pradyuman murder case: The bail application of accused minor rejected by JJ Board

The bail application of the accused student has been rejected by Juvenile Justice Board in Pradyuman Murder Case on Friday.  A class 11 suspect hailing from the same school is said to have murdered Pradyuman in a bid to create a situation whereby the upcoming examinations would get postponed. Juvenile Justice Board to hear arguments in the Pradyuman Murder Case today. The board is likely to decide if the case will be heard in the JJ Board or not. It will also be made clear after the hearing if the minor who is 16 years old is to be treated as a minor or not. The Punjab and Haryana High Court on November 21 granted bail to the Pinto family, owners and trustees of Ryan International School, in the matter related to the murder of seven-year-old Pradyuman Thakur at the Gurugram branch of the school. On September 8, Pradyuman, a Class 2 student, was found with his throat slashed some 15 minutes after he and his older sister were dropped off by their father in the morning. -PTC News
