Shiromani Akali Dal announces 2 lakh cash award for Gold medalist Navjot Kaur

Shiromani Akali Dal announces 2 lakh cash award, SGPC 1 lakh while Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee awarded the star of Punjab- Gold medalist Navjot Kaur with a cheque of one lakh on Wednesday. Shiromani Akali Dal has announced 2 lakh rupees award for gold medalist Navjot Kaur, who scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman to win gold at the Senior Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Cabinet Minister of Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal also congratulated the young gold medalist and felicitated her.  Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has also rewarded gold medalist with 1 lakh cash prize, while Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has awarded the gold medalist with a cheque of one lakh.
