Sidhu Moosewala murder case: Mansa court frames charges against Lawrence Bishnoi, 26 others
Sidhu Moosewala murder case: Mansa district court on Wednesday framed charges against jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and 26 other accused in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, was shot dead in Punjab's Mansa on May 29 2022. The main accused in the sensational case, Canada-based gangster Satinderjit Singh alias Goldy Brar, has yet to be arrested, and no charges have been filed against him.
According to Satinder Pal Singh Mittal, the counsel for the Moosewala family, "District Sessions Judge H S Grewal framed charges against 27 accused in the Moosewala murder case."
In addition, the court denied the discharge applications of accused Lawrence Bishoni, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Jagtar Singh, and Charanjit Singh Chetan, according to their counsel.
The court has scheduled the next hearing for May 20.
