1.5 Lakh Indians March In New York To Celebrate Independence Day
38th India Day Parade on the streets of New York saw a crowd of 1.5 lakh people this time! The parade which was held on Sunday, 19th August saw a huge gathering of as many as 1.5 lakh people. To say the least, this was the largest ever event organized outside of India to celebrate the country's Independence Day. The event saw several Indian communities performing on the streets via dancing, singing and other acts. Together, all of them marched down the Madison Avenue and waved the national flag.
