1984 anti Sikh riots : Delhi High Court to pronounce verdict today
The Delhi High Court on Monday is likely to pronounce its verdict in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case . The Delhi Court will announce its verdict on the appeals challenging a trial court judgement . The Congress leader Sajjan Kumar was acquitted in the anti sikh riot case.

Five members of a family in Raj Nagar area of Delhi were murdered on on November 1, 1984 after the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The trial court in 2013 had held Congress councillor Balwan Khokhar, retired Naval Officer Captain Bhagmal, Girdhari Lal and two others guilty in the case .However,the trial court had acquitted Sajjan Kumar in the case.
