551st Gurpurab: PM Modi, Sukhbir Badal, Capt. Amarinder greet the nation
Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurab, also known as Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav and Guru Nanak Dev Ji Jayanti, celebrates the birth of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak. This is one of the most sacred festivals in Sikhism, or Sikhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders took twitter to extend their wishes.
PM Modi wrote, "I bow to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on his Parkash Purab. May his thoughts keep motivating us to serve society and ensure a better planet."
