Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu dies in road accident
As per the reports, the accident took place at KMP highway (Kundli-Manesar highway) near Delhi. He was driving the car, which rammed into a stationary Tata 407. His friend escaped unhurt, it is learnt.

Sidhu was facing a criminal trial for engineering the violence that ensued at the Red Fort on Republic Day last year.
The accident occurred around 8: 30 pm near the Singhu border, the centre of last year's farmer protests. He was gravely wounded and died on the way to the hospital.
Deep Sidhu's body's has been sent to the Sonepat Civil Hospital for autopsy, police sources said.
On January 26, protesting farmers had clashed with police during the tractor rally against the Centre's now-repealed farm laws and stormed into the Red Fort, hoisting religious flags on its domes and injuring scores of policemen.

Deep Sidhu came to limelight last year after he was allegedly accused of hoisting the Nishan Sahib at the Red Fort on Republic Day 2021.
Deep Sidhu was born in a Jatt Sikh family in Punjab's Sri Muktsar Sahib in 1984. He had begin his acting career at the age of 31. Sidhu became most famous for Jora 10 Numbaria (2017).
