Amid Boycott ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ trend, SCPC gives go ahead

Amid the backlash being faced by Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Lal Singh Chaddha, SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) has shown the movie green flag to go ahead. Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the theaters on 11 August. Since the plot of the film is set in Punjab, Aamir Khan (producer of Laal Singh Chaddha) has taken the support of SGPC members by showing them his film. While talking about this, Aamir Khan said, "I was very impressed by the reaction of the members of SGPC. I am very happy that our film has touched their hearts so deeply." Laal Singh Chaddha, it is the official Hindi remake of Hollywood film Forest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh.
