An 18-year-old boy was run over by a train near the Welcome railway station due to carelessness on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Arbaaz Khan, who was a resident of Seelampur. As per reports, Arbaaz was listening to music while crossing the railway tracks. He was carrying his phone and his earphones were plugged in at the time of the incident, said police. The 18-year-old had left home for tuition classes. However, his body was later found next to the tracks on Monday afternoon. GRP personnel said Arbaaz was earlier seen stopping on the tracks to click a selfie. As per their preliminary probe, police said Arbaaz had possibly not heard the train coming from behind him due to loud music playing on his earphones. "It appears to be an accident. We are probing it from all angles," said a senior police officer, without divulging details. There are no witnesses in the case. -PTC News
