PTC News Desk: As the search and rescue effort proceeded on Wednesday at the scene of a massive hoarding fall in Mumbai, two more dead were discovered beneath the debris, according to an NDRF official.

According to a civic official, the remains were discovered on Tuesday night but had not yet been removed. According to police, rescue teams had already removed 14 fatalities from the scene and treated 75 injuries.

According to an NDRF officer, a small fire that started during the search and rescue effort on Wednesday morning at the incident site in Ghatkopar was quickly put out by the fire tenders stationed there.

The official stated, "There was a small fire, but it was put out right away."

According to officials, the search and rescue effort was still underway forty hours after the disaster.

When the city was struck by dust storms and unseasonal rains on Monday evening, the illegal hoarding that was standing on a plot of property owned by the Government Railway Police toppled on a gas pump in the Chheda Nagar district.
