Train passenger finds insect in food on Kashi Express; Railways responds
PTC News Desk: A passenger on the Kashi Express train shared a photo of contaminated food received during the journey, which went viral on social media. The incident occurred on the Kashi Express on Monday when a passenger ordered food.
The picture shows an insect mixed in with a grain of rice on a spoon. The picture enraged social media users, who demanded action.
Indian railways took notice of the photo and asked the passenger to send the PNR number and contact information via direct message.
In addition to posting the troubling photo, the X user detailed his journey aboard train number 15018. The Kashi Express runs from Gorakhpur to Mumbai's Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.
The user also tagged Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The photo provoked many reactions from users who shared their own experiences.
