Bank holidays in India: Banks across India will remain closed for 4 days in March and 14 days in the month of April. So, if you have any work related to banks, then you must note down the calendar.

Of 14 bank holidays in April in India, eight holidays are on account of festivals while the bank closing day (April 1) while the rest are regular holidays that include four Sundays and two Saturdays.

Meanwhile, the banks will also remain closed from March 27-29, on account of the fourth Saturday and Holi while bank branches will remain open on March 31.

However, the regular work won't be carried out as the customers would not be entertained since it would be the last day of the financial year.

Between March 27 to April 4, there are only 2 working days.

The banks will be closed consecutively from March 27-29 on account of the Second Saturday and Holi festival all over India. In Patna, the banks will even remain closed on March 30, as per the RBI calendar. It is pertinent to mention that there is a two-day Holi break for Patna banks.

March 27: Last Saturday of the month

March 28: Sunday

March 29: Monday (Holi Holiday)

March 30: Tuesday (Holiday only for bank branches in Patna, not for rest of India)

March 31: Wednesday (Year-end holiday)
