Good News for Students! Summer Holidays extended to July 8 in Delhi

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia has announced the extension of summer holidays for Delhi Schools for students up to Class 8, here on Sunday. Manish Sisodia has announced the extension of holidays following the rising temperature in Delhi. Earlier, the schools were supposed to re-open on July 1, but now they will be functional from July 8, but to the students of Class 8. For students of Class 9-12, the schools will reopen on the same schedule.

The decision will apply to both the private and the government schools amid rising temperature this summer. The summer vacations will be extended for the students up to Class 8, but the students of Class9-12 have to pack their bags with their holiday homework ready.

The students of Delhi must be happy, except for the students of Class 9-12. Well, this is indeed a good step in term of avoiding dehydration in the summer season. Also, the monsoon is quite late in North India. While the monsoon in Maharashtra is on the peak as the Mumbai and Pune are almost flooded with the rains.
