New Delhi, August 11: As per the latest data by health ministry, India recorded 16,299 new coronavirus cases and 53 fatalities in last 24 hours.
Adding the new Covid cases, the country’s overall figures rise to 44,206,996 cases and 5,26,879 deaths.

As per the latest data, the active cases came down by 3,185 in a spam of 24 hours. As per the health ministry, the recovery rate stood at 98.53 per cent and fatality rate at 1.19 per cent.
The tally for recoveries is at 4,35,55,041.
As far as Covid vaccines are concerned, 207.29 crore Covid doses have been administered so far.
Meanwhile, the positivity rate stands at 17.83 per cent.
