Mumbai Rains: A man dies of electrocution due to the water-logging in the city which results in his death following the heavy rainfall in Maharashtra, which turned the city Mumbai in a flood-like situation. The man has been identified as the resident of Shivaji Nagar area. The Mumbai rains have been so dominative that the flood-like situation has erupted in the city of Maharashtra.
Likewise, the continuous rainfall overnight has disrupted the train services in Mumbai. At least 13 trains have been terminated and canceled followed by the water-logging on the railway tracks, here on Monday. Mumbai has been on alert as The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the no-stop rains for next 48 hours.
Meanwhile, at least four cases of electric shocks have been witnessed so far including two from the island city and two other from the eastern suburbs. While Maharashtra is suffering from the havoc of rains, the Northern areas are drained and waiting for the monsoon to hit the hills.
