PTC News Desk: At least eleven people lost their lives and twenty others were injured when a local train rammed into a stationary goods train near Bilaspur station in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday afternoon. The collision, which took place on the Bilaspur–Katni route, caused several coaches to derail and disrupted rail traffic on the line.

Railway rescue teams, assisted by RPF personnel and local police, quickly arrived at the scene to carry out relief and evacuation operations. Emergency medical teams provided treatment to the injured, while senior railway officials reached the site to oversee the rescue efforts.
