Silenced, not defeated: Raghav Chadha's first reaction after being removed as AAP's deputy leader in Rajya Sabha

Raghav Chadha's message to AAP: AAP MP from Punjab Raghav Chadha has strongly reacted against his removal from the post of party's deputy leader in the upper house of the Parliament, Rajya Sabha.

Chadha posted a video on his social media questioning his removal by the party with a strong-worded caption 'silenced not defeated.'

"Whenever I get a chance to speak in Parliament I raise public issues. Maybe I raise topics not usually raised,,, but is raising public issues a crime? Have I committed a crime? Have I made a mistake? Have I done something wrong?" Chadha asked in a video message posted on X.

"I am asking this question because the AAP told the Secretariat to stop Raghav Chadda from speaking in Parliament," he said in his 'silenced, not defeated' message to the 'aam aadmi'.

Earlier on Thursday, AAP replaced Raghav Chadha with Ashok Mittal as party’s deputy leader in Rajya Sabha, setting the tone of rift in the party.

The development follows Chadha’s continued silence on key developments surrounding the AAP and its top leadership, signalling a possible rift in the party.

Notably Chadha also did not publicy react a court cleared AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and others of all charges in the Delhi excise policy case in February.

He also remained absent from key party events including Arvind Kejriwal's press conference following his acquittal a 'jan sabha' at Jantar Mantar where the AAP chief launched a sharp attack on the ruling BJP.
