Baddi perfume factory fire: CM Sukhu cancels visit due to bad weather, expresses grief over 5 deaths

Baddi perfume factory fire: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed condolences over the five deaths caused by a fire at a perfume factory in Baddi, Solan district, a day earlier.

The Chief Minister was scheduled to visit Baddi, where the incident occurred. However, we had to cancel due to bad weather.

As many as 31 people have been injured, and nine people remain missing.

They said five people were killed, including a woman, in the fire that started on Friday evening. The National Disaster Response Force discovered four bodies today while searching for missing people.

Deputy Commissioner Solan Manmohan Sharma confirmed the death toll. The fire has been brought under control.

They also stated that the deceased woman had been identified as Pinki, who allegedly jumped out of the building to escape the factory fire.

"He directed the district administration to conduct an inquiry into this mishap and to provide all possible assistance to the affected families," according to a statement from the district.

"He also wished speedy recovery to the injured," according to the statement.
