Himachal tragedy: Two charred to death after car loses control, plunges 150 feet into gorge

PTC News Desk: In a tragic accident, two people lost their lives after the car they were travelling in lost control and plunged into a gorge and caught fire in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, officials said.
The incident took place on the Bharwain–Hoshiarpur Road, a route known for its sharp bends and steep slopes.
The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media, which the car lost control before falling nearly 150 feet into the gorge, where it burst into flames.
Eyewitnesses while recounting the harrowing crash said that a loud bang was heard in the run up to the crash, with speculations of tyre burst while the car was in motion. However the exact cause ehind the crash has not been ascertained yet.
A case has been registered and police have launched investigation into the matter. The evidence collected from the crash site confirms that only two people were involved in the accident.
The car involved in the action bears a Punjab registration number. The documents recovered suggest that one of the occupant was a resident Tajpur Road in Ludhiana. However the identities of both the victims have not been confirmed yet.
