IAF’s trainer aircraft Surya Kiran crashes near Karnatakas Chamrajnagar, both pilots safe

Karnataka, June 1: Indian Air Force's (IAF) Surya Kiran trainer aircraft crashed on Thursday near Chamrajnagar in Karnataka. The incident took place during a routine training sortie.
Both pilots, including a lady pilot, were safely ejected before the crash.
A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the accident's cause.
"A Kiran trainer aircraft of the IAF crashed near Chamrajnagar, Karnataka today, while on a routine training sortie. Both aircrew ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident," IAF tweeted.
